Open Question: If homosexuality is a choice (not saying that it is)...?

Does that mean that straight people have a quiescent attraction for the same sex that they could choose to activate, consequently making them not straight at all? Question was inspired by seeing some nutcase calling it a sin and a choice. It's as much as a choice as being lactose intolerant. Sorry to hear that, Whoa.
